Our bankruptcy assistance service covers far more than just helping you complete your on-line application. It includes all of the following:
Completion of your application form
We work through your on-line application together to ensure you understand exactly what information you are required to provide and that nothing is missed.
Preparing your income and expenses budget
Getting your income and expenses correct is a vital part of your application form. We will ensure nothing is missed.
This is particularly useful for self employed people in terms of income calculations (i.e. distinguishing between business income and personal drawings after a provision for tax).
Getting you ready for your interview with the Official Receiver
Once you are bankrupt, you may be required to have a telephone interview with the Official Receiver (on rare occasions this is face to face). We will ensure you know exactly what to expect and how to answer the questions put to you.
Assistance with any follow-up paperwork or questions
You will receive various paperwork from the Official Receiver. We will explain what the documents are and how to complete them. We will also assist you with drafting your responses to any follow-up questions.
Ongoing support during the 12 months you are bankrupt
You will normally remain bankrupt for 12 months. If you have any questions or concerns during that time, you can simply pick up the phone and we will chat them through with you.

Cost
We charge an upfront fee for our Bankruptcy Assistance Service. This is in addition to the standard Bankruptcy application fee which you will also have to pay. Our fee is as follows:
Single person Bankruptcy Application: £750
An increase to the standard fee may be charged if you require a more in depth assistance. This may be the case if you are self employed, a home owner or are currently residing outside of the UK.
